Recycling Womens Halloween CostumesWhat do you do with your Halloween costumes after the fact? Is it possible to really get your money's worth, or are you just plain stuck with them? Actually, most womens Halloween costumes are not limited to Halloween alone. In fact, you can get the most out of them by finding creative ways to reuse them for any of the other 364 days of the year. If you are a drama student, or know of a high school or college fine arts department, or thespian group who could use it, you are in luck. Whether you have one or several, any number of womens Halloween costumes could easily be turned into costumes in a play, choir production, or some other school function. If you belong to an organization that regularly has charity fundraisers, you could wear your costumes as an attention-getters on behalf of a cause. How about a mermaid advertising for a PTO carwash? Depending on what types of costumes you have, you yourself could wear them again for seasonal events where costumes might be appropriate. Or, if you have formal gowns, they could be turned into lovely evening dresses, suitable for dates or formal dinners. If you are or know of a stand-up comic, what better way to be remembered than for having signature costumes? You just never know what could be needed when it comes to making people laugh! Some other ways to turn keep any womens Halloween costumes from collecting dust would be to donate them to charity, sell them to specialty consignment shops, or alter them for children's use.
