Parties are the norm on most college campuses and Halloween is no exception. So, there is certainly a demand for college Halloween costumes. However, college Halloween costumes don't seem to be much different than your typical adult Halloween costume.
There are a few costumes that tend to be favorites amongst college students, but you wouldn't necessarily label them as college Halloween costumes because you see them quite often on those other than college goers. One example of this would be the toga. Of course for Halloween, it tends to be dressed up a bit more than just a strategically placed bed sheet. You will see a little more detail to the costume at a Halloween party as opposed to a toga party.
Another popular, no fuss, idea for college Halloween costumes would be a bum. This is easy for the busy college student because a lot of them tend to dress like bums anyway. Don't think for a minute that when you see a college student dressed as a bum at a costume party that it took him any thought to put it together. He probably just threw on as many mismatched, offending items as he could find in his trashed out closet.
Probably the most prevalent costume you will see at a college Halloween party would be a drag queen. Again, this is an easy one for a college guy, especially if he has a special lady who will let him borrow her pantyhose and makeup. This is definitely a crowd pleaser but then again, most college students are too drunk at a Halloween party to care what you dressed like anyway.
